Reducing Your Double Chin Without Surgery

Kybella® is an FDA-approved injectable from the makers of Botox. It is used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin, also known as a “double chin.” Patients love Kybella® because it is minimally invasive and has a short recovery time.

How Does Kybella® Work?

Kybella® contains deoxycholic acid. This acid is naturally produced by your body to help absorb fat. Kybella® injections use a synthetic form of this acid as an injection. When the acid is injected, it destroys fat cells beneath the chin area to prevent fat from being stored in this area.

During this procedure, our team will first administer a topical numbing agent to alleviate pain and discomfort. We will then make small, precise injections into the desired area. The deoxycholic acid then works gradually to kill fat cells, which the body metabolizes over the following weeks. Patients typically must undergo two or more of these injection sessions to achieve desired results.

Benefits Of Kybella® Treatment

  • Kybella® Uses A Naturally Occurring Acid

The main active ingredient is a synthetic version of deoxycholic acid, a compound naturally found in the body that breaks down dietary fat.

  • Safe and Gentle

A safe, effective procedure that targets the desired areas without harming healthy tissues

  • No Incisions

Unlike liposuction or neck lift surgery, no incisions are required for Kybella® treatment.

  • High Patient Satisfaction

Most patients see visible results after receiving a series of treatments.

  • Permanent Results

Because treatment destroys the fat cells and they are flushed out, they are gone for good, and you can expect your results to last a lifetime.

  • Smoother Chin-Neck Transition

By removing excess fat, the transition from the chin to the neck is smoother and more aesthetically pleasing
