What Is DAXXIFY™?
DAXXIFY™ is an FDA-approved injectable treatment used to smooth the appearance of frown lines. Similar to other injectables like BOTOX®, this treatment utilizes botulinum toxin A to temporarily paralyze the muscles and prevent them from contracting. However, there are two key differences that set this formula apart from others on the market.
How Does DAXXIFY™ Work?
This cosmetic procedure works similarly to other injections. During your appointment, Dr. Ghaznavi will use a thin needle to inject a small amount of the solution into the affected area. The number of injections and amount of solution used will depend on your specific needs. While patients may experience some slight discomfort or soreness while the injections are administered, it should not be painful.
Following the procedure, patients should avoid rubbing or touching the affected area for at least 24 hours. Results will begin to appear within two days, and can last for 6 to 9 months. It is recommended that patients receive these injections twice a year to maximize treatment benefits.

This innovative treatment is FDA-approved and safe to use. According to Revance, this formula was tested in the largest-ever clinical study for frown line treatments, in which 2,800 people participated.
